Interview with Great Hearts Texas Superintendent Brendan Miniter
On December 7, 2021, I was fortunate to take the opportunity to interview Brendan Miniter, the new Superintendent and Managing director of Smashing Hearts Texas. He simply started in that role on Dec 1, 2021. Most recently, he worked at the Dallas Morn News as Editorial Folio Editor and General Manager of the Dallas Morning News' ePaper. He began his career at The Wall Street Journal serving as Assistant Editor of the editorial page. Afterward a decade at The Wall Street Journal, he moved to Texas in 2011 to join the George Westward. Bush Presidential center as Senior Editorial Manager and so Director of Historical Scholarship. There he led the team that created the Presidential Museum. In add-on to his history degree from George Mason University, Miniter holds an MBA from the Darden School of Concern at the University of Virginia.
